A 20,000-gallon liquid Nitrogen dewar designed for -320 degrees Farenheit at 250 psig.
The inner vessel being hydrostatically pressure tested per ASME code at 398 psig. The vessel has already undergone helium mass-specification testing at 2 x 10 -10 cc/sec sensitivity. All plumbing is routed to allow for thermal contracting and heat gain reduction between the inner and outer vessels.
In this view, the dewar is completed and loaded for shipment. The end view of the head shows the inner vessel nozzles exiting the outer vessel. Hidden is the complexity of the nozzle work between the inner and outer vessels of the dewar.
Side view of vessel ready for shipment to customer on the West Coast.
